Kingman Health Facilities

Kingman Regional Medical Center

Welcome to Kingman! As a new resident, you can be assured that quality healthcare services are available close to home at Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC).

As the largest, most comprehensive healthcare provider in northwest Arizona, KRMC offers a full range of services to meet the healthcare and wellness needs of our vibrant growing community. From sophisticated medical imaging and diagnostic capabilities— to advanced treatments in cardiac care, wound care and cancer—to progressive rehabilitation and pain management therapies; KRMC is unique among hospitals in similar-size communities. For example:

KRMC has been often recognized in the healthcare industry as a “five-star” hospital and among the nation’s “top 100 hospitals.” We are also the only hospital in Arizona to receive the Governor’s Arizona Innovation Award for our efforts to proactively enhance healthcare in a rural community.

KRMC is the second hospital in the nation to become a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.  With this membership, KRMC has direct access to Mayo Clinic medical expertise and research. This relationship enables us to address more types of medical conditions at a local level— providing our community further options for receiving quality care close to home.

KRMC has the distinction of being Arizona’s first rural teaching hospital, offering doctors advanced residency training in family medicine and emergency medicine.

KRMC matches or exceeds the medical imaging capabilities found at most larger urban medical centers. We house one of the most powerful MRI systems in Arizona, along with many other state-of-the-art imaging technologies (e.g., multi-slice CT, PET-CT, etc.).  Recently, we were among the first in the nation to offer breast tomosynthesis, a new breakthrough technology for screening and diagnosing breast cancer. Additionally, our expert radiology team includes six skilled doctors who all received their radiology training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

KRMC was one the first rural hospitals in Arizona to provide interventional cardiovascular services (e.g., angioplasty and stent placement). Our cardiovascular program has since grown to include a sophisticated open-heart surgery program and other advanced cardiovascular testing, treatment, and rehabilitation capabilities.

KRMC’s Cancer Center was recently ranked among the top in the nation for overall quality of care.  In addition to state-of-the-art cancer treatments, we offer a range of services that attend to the other physical and emotional challenges that can often accompany the disease.

KRMC’s award-winning emergency department is Mohave County’s only certified Cardiac Arrest Center for delivering lifesaving intervention and treatment services to patients with heart attack or cardiac arrest. We are also the only hospital in the region designated as a Level IV Trauma Hospital for emergency assessment and treatment of patients who are severely injured.
